Thank you for your interest in volunteering to help flood victims in SE Kentucky. The Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team (DRT) is on site and fully engaged with organizing volunteers.
We will be making a trip to the Fleming-Neon/Jackhorn communities of Kentucky on Oct. 13-15, 2022 with over a dozen volunteers. You are welcome to join our group or collaborate with us in this effort.
Here’s what you need to know:
Go with us: We will be leaving the Pickerington Church of Christ building (located at 9645 Stoudertown Rd., Pickerington, Ohio 43147), on Thursday, Oct. 13 around 5pm. We will eat on the way and arrive around 10pm and settle into our sleeping arrangements. We will work Friday and Saturday from around 8-5. Saturday evening we will eat, shower and leave for home, arriving around midnight. We will be based at the Hemphill Community Center in
Jackhorn, KY.
Go alongside us: If you have a work party and your own transportation, you may follow our
lead and work alongside us. When you signup to volunteer, you may use Pickerington Church
of Christ as your “group” or use your own group name and contact person.
